HALOKEY is a completely passive device. There is no battery, no chip drawing power, and nothing transmitting while it sits on your finger. It carries no energy of its own.
When you bring your HALOKEY close to a compatible door lock, the lock emits a short-range field that momentarily powers the ring. In that instant, your programmed room-access code is read — and the lock opens. Move away, and the ring is dormant again.
NOT A TRACKING DEVICE
HALOKEY has no GPS, no radio, and no way to broadcast your location. It cannot be tracked — it only ever speaks to a reader pressed right against it.
NO POWER STORED
While it sits dormant on your finger the ring holds zero stored energy. It is woken only for the split second a compatible door lock powers it.
NEVER NEEDS CHARGING
Because the door lock provides the power, there is nothing to charge, nothing to replace, and nothing to ever run flat.
